Delta single handle ball valve faucets are among the least troublesome to repair although the fact the valve is spring loaded can make disassembly a little finicky.

If this connection is secure and not leaking then check the hose for damage.

Since the water travels through the hose and not the spout itself a leak from the base of the spout would be very unlikely.
Replace the hose if it is damaged or leaking.

Over the valve seat and spring the stem is held into the body with a bonnet nut.
If this occurs check the connection of the hose to the spray wand.
With a stem style faucet a neoprone valve seat and spring fits into the water inlet port in valve body.
The handle then fits onto the top of the stem.
Replace seats and springs 4 in diagram repair part rp4993 if leak persists.
For faucets purchased prior to 2007 please order rp1050 cap and rp61 cam and packing.
Replace ball assembly 1 in diagram repair part rp70 as shown for lever handles or rp212 for knob handles replace cam packing 2 in diagram repair kit rp61.
